Tin oxide SnO2, SrSnO3 and Sr2SnO4 nano crystals have been synthesized by one-step solid-state reactions .In the first step, The powder of SnCl4.5H2O was mixed with SrCl2 and Sr(OH)2 with weight ratio of Sn to Sr (1:1), (2:1) and (1:2) in an air atmosphere at room. XRD patterns show that SrSnO3, SnO2 and Sr2SnO4 , the SnO2 , SrSnO3 and Sr2SnO4 particle size of synthesized powders by SrCl2.6H2O were 14 nm, 5nm and 24 nm respectively. In fact the excess amount of Sr role of crystallite growth inhibitor in SnO2. This method is a simple , inexpensive , efficient and economic preparation for SnO2, SrSnO3 and Sr2SnO4 nano particles with adjustable grain sizes in the range of 6-22nm in high yield.
