Fe doped Alumina nanostructured powder was prepared by chemical precipitation technique. The sample was characterized using X-ray diffraction, SEM for structural properties, EDAX for compositional analysis, room temperature and low temperature VSM for magnetic properties. At high temperature the Fe ions substitute in Al lattice points and XRD shows small shift in peak position of pure alpha alumina. High saturation Magnetisation is observed for the Heat treated sample than the asprepared sample. The relation between structure and magnetic properties will be described in detail.
