We have discussed a totally green approach toward the fabrication of flexible metal-patterned films. When preparing patterned films from the perspectives of environment friendliness and simplicity, the selection of a solvent medium, an environmentally benign reducing agent, and a substrate material that can be easily handled should be evaluated without employing sophisticated instruments. It is therefore expected that this technique has a great usefulness for application to an integrated microarray, flexible display, and disposable sensor electrode chip. |
