REGISTRATION

1. What is included in the registration fee?

The registration fee for delegates and students includes

  • admission to the Congress and Exhibition
  • programme book and abstract CD-rom
  • proceeding DVD (to be distributed after the Congress)
  • daily tea/coffee
  • a public transportation card
  • the Welcome Reception at Stockholm International Fairs and the Reception at the City Hall (please note that there are a limited number of tickets)
     


2. What is included in the registration fee for accompanying persons?

The registration fee for accompanying persons includes

  • admission to the Exhibition
  • a public transportation card
  • the Welcome Reception at Stockholm International Fairs and the City Hall Reception 
  • the possibility to book the local tours in conjunction to the Congress


Please note that the fee for accompanying persons does not include admission to the scientific sessions, or entitle them to any Congress programme book nor abstract CD-rom. The accompanying persons’ fee does not include admission to the Reception at the City


PAYMENT

1. What methods of payment do you accept?

Answer:

Payment should be made in advance by one of the following methods:

As from 3 weeks before the Congress we only accept credit card as payment.

Registrations, hotel reservations, tours and events will be confirmed when Congrex has received payment.

Bank transfers are not allowed after 11 June 2007. Then only credit card payment is accepted.

Please do not forget to indicate the payment reference number 0705/and the serial number appearing on your confirmation and the name of the participant on all money transfers.


CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

1. If I for some reason need to cancel my registration for the IVC-17 / ICSS-13 and ICN+T 2007 Congress. What rules apply and will you refund me the registration fee?

Answer: Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to Congrex. Cancellation of registration will be accepted until 25 April 2007, up to which date the total amount will be refunded less a cancellation fee of SEK 500. For cancellations after 25 April 2007, we regret that no refunds can be made.

2. If I for some reason need to cancel a social event that I have booked. What rules apply and will you refund me the total amount?

Answer: Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to Congrex. Cancellation of social events will be accepted until 1 June 2007, up to which date the total amount will be refunded. For cancellations received after 1 June 2007, no expenses will be refunded.

3. If I for some reason need to cancel my hotel booking. What rules apply and will you refund me the deposit paid?

Answer: Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to Congrex. Cancellation of any hotel reservation will be accepted until 2 May 2007, up to which date the hotel deposit will be refunded less a cancellation fee of SEK 500. We regret that the hotel deposit cannot be refunded after 2 May 2007. Please do not contact the hotel directly as all reservations are handled by Congrex Sweden.


TRANSPORTATION:

1. How long does it take to go from the airport to Stockholm City?

Answer: Airport busses leave approximately every 5-10 minutes and takes around 45 minutes to the city centre of Stockholm. http://www.flygbussarna.se/en/default.html. Price: 95 SEK/person, 1 way. 175 SEK/person, return ticket.

The Arlanda Express train leave approximately every 20 minutes and takes 20 minutes to the city centre. www.arlandaexpress.se. Price: 200 SEK/person, 1 way. 380 SEK/person, return ticket.

Airport Taxi costs approximately SEK 390. We recommend Taxi Stockholm or Taxi Kurir. Ask for a fixed price.

2. How do I get from the city centre to the Stockholm International Fairs?

Answer: Stockholm International Fairs is located in Älvsjö, at Mässvägen 1.
The most convenient way to get to Stockholm International Fairs, is to take the commuter train from Stockholm Central Station to Älvsjö station. The train ride takes 8 minutes and there are 6-8 departures per hour. All southbound trains stop at Älvsjö station.


LETTER OF INVITATION

1. If I need a letter of invitation in order to obtain a VISA, who do I contact?

Answer: Participants are advised to make their own arrangements with respect to entering Sweden. Individuals requiring an official letter of invitation in order to obtain a visa and authorization to attend the Congress, should contact the Congress secretariat at ivc17@congrex.com not later than 11 June, 2007. The invitation letter will be issued once the registration form and payment has been received by Congrex.

CLIMATE AND DRESS CODE

1. How do I dress for the Congress?

Answer: Informal dress is recommended.

2. What is the weather like in Stockholm during the time of the Congress?
